If Glasgow Short is the institution, the short mark can be one word. Short is the nickname the festival already has, an instruction to the work it shows, and a joke about length that never has to be explained. Everything else — the city, the medium, the edition, the dates — becomes caption, set small and level underneath, which is exactly where this identity puts information anyway. It is the boldest of the routes and the one that leans hardest on the festival being known.
