Every layout here is the same four words in Frutiger Bold, under one set of rules: one tracking, one leading, one condense, one small size. Justified layouts track each line out to the measure of the longest, which is what gives the block its flush edges. The proportions printed under each one are in cap heights, so they can be compared with the mark as drawn: 5.37 caps wide for GLASGOW, 1.23 caps of leading.
