The frame
One member, repeated, at a fixed centre
If the mark has to be built rather than printed — a stand, a hoarding, a stage flat, a scaffold on a
gable — it should be buildable from one member at one centre. So the letters are resolved onto a square grid and
every filled bay becomes a post, a beam and a brace of exactly the same length. Change the centre and the same
drawing yields a table-top version or a building-sized one, with the bill of materials falling out of it.
